What a week we have had!
From the Super Bowl (yes, that was this week!) to Ash Wednesday to Valentine's Day, it has felt like Christmas around here. A nice long weekend is just what we all need to reset for a productive (mini)week next week. Please note that we have Monday and Tuesday off of school. We managed to squeak in some fractions this week, and we finished Number the Stars today. We will work on some comprehension activities and reflection writing next week, as well as reading two pictures books that touch on the same subjects covered in Number the Stars.
On Wednesday, the girls had a wonderful time opening their Valentine Boxes - the room was filled with many, many "Thanks! Thank you for the card! and Thank you's!" The girls also enjoyed singing some Taylor Swift songs, and they had a fabulous treat - thank you to everyone for making Valentine's Day so special.
