for The Autism Society of Central Virginia.

The girls will be collecting the $ next week.

Weekly Update

Thanks to everyone for the support and encouragement during this crazy tummy-bug week. The girls handled it all in stride, and we are looking forward to a much more normal week starting on Monday. 

We have enjoyed reading Flora and Ulysses this week. It is nice to see Flora begin to...hope! In math, we are reviewing topics we covered over the school year, such as geometry, area, perimeter, angles, long division, fractions, decimals and more. Hopefully, the girls remember all of these important math concepts! The girls are doing a good job learning their states and capitals. Next week, we will focus on the MidWest Region:

Make sure you have 

Lower School Final Assembly (grades 2-4) on your calendar.

It is Thursday, May 30 at 11:00 in Endeavour Hall. This also serves as Fourth Grade Graduation. This is a special occasion for the Fourthies! They lead the ceremony, and the girls even walk across the stage to get their certificate of completion. The girls are not required to wear white dresses; they may wear a nice dress, skirt, or dressy slacks. There is a reception with lemonade and cookies for Fourthies and their families following the ceremony.
